Program Management and Supervision
The Clean Team Corporation stresses the importance of professional and harmonious relationships with our clients based on complete customer satisfaction. Our intent and purpose is to provide the immediate availability of our management's experience and company resources for your program. To ensure delivery of consistent, high quality cleaning services to your satisfaction, we will provide the following:

  • In-depth local management and administrative support through regular visits to your premises by management from The Clean Team to assure that the program is functioning to your satisfaction and to our standards.
  • Regular follow up visits by Mick Lafata, company President, for the purpose of program evaluation and liaison with your representatives. Well-trained staff members under the direction of our top management will provide consistent, periodic quality inspections, work method analysis and supervisory training.
  • An experienced, attentive Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operation of our program. The Supervisor will have an excellent supervisory background and will be qualified to train cleaning personnel and to manage workload and scheduling.
  • Experienced Clean Team crew leaders assigned to your facility to train, under the direction of top management, the balance of the required personnel hired to serve your needs.

A preliminary tour of the facility will be conducted during the week preceding start-up to facilitate work loading for scheduling. During the first month of installation, our most experienced managers and supervisors, who have been made familiar with The Clean Team standards — along with Mr. Lafata — will be on duty to start up the program. For as long as necessary, the company President, Mick Lafata, will personally direct all operations. After satisfactory performance and consistently high standards have been demonstrated, the Site Manager will assume supervision of day-to-day operations.

It is The Clean Team's conviction that consistent supervision and clear communication are the keys to the success or failure of any cleaning program. Our company emphasizes customer communication, supervisory training, employee motivation and communication, and a close-knit team operation. All The Clean Team's clients benefit from the experience and success of our company's dedication to these performance-enhancing goals.

Communications
All Clean Team personnel at the supervisory level or higher are equipped with Nextel phones. This ensures our customers receive rapid response to any emergency situation at all times. One quick call will initiate immediate action. Because top management is involved in the operation of our cleaning programs on a daily basis, you can be assured that an unexpected emergency call will receive the attention of our top professionals.

Security Control
Though the responsibility for Security Control ultimately rests with senior management, each supervisor, team leader and employee is expected to be responsible for this important client concern. We will adhere to all security requirements of our clients, and in addition, maintain the following guidelines and procedures:

  • Entrance to The Clean Team properties will be at an agreed upon time and location for all The Clean Team's personnel. The Clean Team's management is trained to assign all new employees to areas that are frequently supervised and monitored. Newly hired employees will not be assigned to sensitive areas or allowed to work alone until management at The Clean Team is reasonably confident of their trustworthiness.
  • When it is necessary to work unscheduled hours, The Clean Team will notify The Clean Team management in advance so that all the proper security procedures are followed.
  • All new employees are as carefully screened as local laws permit. Top management interviews and screens each and every applicant. Though employee dishonesty affects all industries and businesses, The Clean Team's recognition of this fact and our persistent efforts to curtail such activities sets us apart from others in our industry.

Inspection and Quality Control
On a regular, non-routine basis, the Supervisor will inspect the facilities. Using a detailed inspection report form, he will note the performance on each cleaning function. Any deficiencies noted will be corrected within 24 hours. Copies of the reports are given to The Clean Team's Operations Manager for your facility and are monitored by Mr. Lafata personally.

Tightly managed control systems are essential to any service organization in setting and maintaining standards of quality. It is extremely important that the proper quality assurance tools be structured to meet the individual needs of each customer. The Clean Team Corporation considers inspection tours to be the primary tool in our quality control program. Performing inspections is multi-purpose:

  • Check the progress of the staff to ensure that the work is being accomplished on a daily basis to the standard of your company
  • Maintain a high level of communication with each customer

When performing inspections, there are several important guidelines followed by The Clean Team:

  • Varying the times for inspections. As people are creatures of habit, it will not take an area cleaner long to ascertain the habits of the management team.
  • Know the daily routine of area cleaners. This allows the inspector to provide an accurate assessment of the cleaner.
  • Always bring a discrepancy to the attention of the cleaner upon discovery. This will validate the discrepancy, as well as demonstrate that the area has been inspected.
  • A checklist form is created to provide an accurate, documented assessment of the cleaning condition of a building at a particular time, on a particular day.

Personnel
Interviewing, screening and hiring of employees will be handled by a team assigned to the job and led by Mr. Lafata during the pre-installation period. Contract-specific training for the Foreman and all cleaners will be conducted by our top management and the assigned supervisor(s)
during the first week of contract.

All of The Clean Team's employees are personally interviewed and carefully screened by our experienced operations management staff and hired by our top management. Our people are hand-picked to fit our clients' needs and are trained and closely supervised to maintain the highest standards. Only those whose job history, reference checks or personal references have proved satisfactory are considered for employment.

In addition, due to Federal requirements, all our employees are required to produce three (3) forms of identification. These I.D.s will be photocopied and retained on premises so that under these new U.S. government regulations neither The Clean Team Corporation nor The Clean Team can be accused of any technical violations of law.

A Special Word About Training
At The Clean Team we believe in ... and put into practice ... training as an ongoing and important responsibility of our management. To us, that means that our managers, supervisors and our workers are given contract-specific training. But our dedication to teaching the importance of knowledge of our industry doesn't stop there. The owner, the managers, and operations staff all participate in professional industry training given by the Building Service Contractor's Association, along with the New England Institute of Restoration and Cleaning and the International Institute of Cleaning and Restoration Contractors. We believe that providing expertise in equipment, materials, and chemicals are skills to be fostered and supported by our organization, not learned at the expense of a client's valuable facility and the comfort of their environment.
